Magic Cream

Hey Guys!

I went gunpla shopping recently and got these, Tamiya's Polishing Compounds. I bought the at Hobby Point, located at Thiong Bahru Plaza. I got them at $6.90 each, for the coarse and fine type, and $12.90 for the finish. Why are their prices different? I have no idea. These works just like polishing metal. The came in tubes, in a cardboard box packaging. I was curious on what the results looked like so here's what happened.

I bought this car late last year when I took a break from Gundams to venture out the other Plamos. This BRZ is my 2nd car of my collection. It took me about a month or so to finish it. This kit, compared to the Gundams that I'm used to is slightly different in the building process. You have to paint it and they are not snap fit model. This kit required more work but the results are AWESOME!

I really love the engine detail. I'm so proud of my work

Overall, the build was a fun one. I enjoyed myself building the kit. I shared some pictures of it with some of my friend when one of them suggested me to polish it for the real look. So I gave it a try on the hood.

Before polish...

With some magic cream and rounds of polishing...........
*Drum roll............*

What can I say? hehehehe What do you think?

First Post

Hey Guys!

Its been a long time since I last blogged (Back in 2008), so let's start this one with a "tour" around my work table.
So this is my worktable. Nothing much, but good enough for me at the moment. Apologies for the big mess I made. This is where I spend most of my free time pla-modelling. This also where I do my homework and my studies.
Introducing my representative for the blog, my RG Zaku II. I really love this guy. In fact, he is the first one to have taken part in a competition when he was an entry for the 2012 GBWC. Its a funny story how it happened. I'll take about that soon. Didn't win anything but still, I'm proud of my work on him although its nothing much.

I visit this part of the room very often. This is where is store my boxes, my WIPs and also my backlogs. This is also where I store my Gunpla after its completed (I have yet to have a display case)

Some of the work I have done recently. ;)

So... we have come to the end of my short intro of my room. I would show you more but I chose not to due to so reasons. Hope you have enjoyed it. Bye!
